Day 1

Check in at Chateau Beychevelle, our base for the next two nights in St Julien. Once settled in, a tour, tasting and dinner at the Chateau with a member of the Pinault family.
Day 2
After a sumptuous breakfast we head off to Margaux starting with a tour and tasting of Chateau Palmer. Despite being classified as a Third Growth it is often touted as the only wine to rival Chateau Margaux within the commune of Margaux.

Cast in Bronze (81 x 27 x 17cm by Jonathan Wylder
Jonathan Wylder is probably best known for his monumental sculptures including the 9 meter high bronze of the 1st Marquess of Westminster in Belgrave Square commissioned by the late Duke of Westminster; the 3 metre long bronze mermaid at Cowes Royal Yacht Squadron commissioned by Lord Iliffe; the life size diminutive figure of Mother Teresa visited by thousands of visitors at the Sister of Mercy house, Kolkata, to name but a few. He has sculpted Yasmin le Bon, Fiona Chadwick, Royal Ballet Company principal dancer, worked with John Cleese and his wife, created a tribute to the much-loved show jumping horse, Milton, and is currently creating a life-size Asian elephant. His ability to capture likenesses in clay when creating portraits is second to none. Jonathan’s passion for the figurative form is reflected in his sculptures as can be seen and appreciated in this beautiful piece.

Known as the “Jewel in the Crown of Samujana” in Koh Samui Thailand, Villa 30 is perched at the very top of the estate and boasts sea views from three sides without being overlooked by other villas. There are five en-suite bedrooms, all with sea views, sleeping up to ten guests (plus an extra single bed or cot), set within lush, landscaped grounds. There are sensational views from the open top platform living space, with dining area, sun deck, barbecue and private infinity pool. The villa has its own private gym, cinema, two kitchens, internal living areas and private parking. The finest restaurants are only a short taxi ride away and a private chef can be arranged at an additional cost. This seven-night stay can be enjoyed in 2025 (except: 20 December 2024 – 7 January 2025; 24 January – 10 February 2025; 5 – 22 April 2025; 1 August- 31 August 2025).
